What is recycling?
Each year thousands of automobiles are damaged in collisions or stolen and recovered. Many are relatively new with low mileage. In most instances, only a portion of the truck is damaged while the remaining parts are in excellent condition and can be recycled. Recycling is a "disassembly process" for salvaged trucks. It's purpose is to provide high-quality reclaimed, reusable parts for all types of auto's. Recycled parts are typically sold at about 30% to 50% saving over new parts. In some instances buyers can save as much as 80%.
Will the part I buy come off the same make and model as my own?
Sometimes yes and sometimes no. At Rancho Ford Truck we try to supply our customers with the newest model part which will match the customer's vehicle. For example, if you need a Engine for a Ford Bronco we might give you the exact match for a Bronco, or we might give you the identical engine taken from a F-150 Pickup, or a E-250 Van. As you can see it is our intention to give you the best quality recycled parts available for the lowest possible price. Also buying an "assembly" instead of a single part can save you time and money by reducing the total cost of the repairs.
How do recycled parts help save the environment?
Recyclers play a vital role in preserving our natural resources. We comply with stringent government regulations pertaining to waste generated by salvaged vehicles. Recycling reduces the need for landfills, air and water pollution. They also greatly reduce the generation of solid waste. Each year over 10 million vehicles are recycled in the United States alone. This saves an estimated 85 million barrels of oil that would otherwise be used to manufacture replacement parts. Each time you buy or use a recycled part you making an important contribution toward preserving and protecting the environment.
Why use recycled parts?
There are four very good reasons to use recycled parts. You save the environment. You save money, time and effort, and in many cases new parts are not available or on backorder. Let's look at all four of these benefits. Number one. You save the environment as described above. Number two. You save money. With recycled parts you get high quality and low cost at the same time. In some cases you can save up to 80% off the cost of comparable new parts. Number three. You save time and energy. Most recycled parts are sold as an "assembly." This makes installations quicker and easier. For this reason you not only save money on parts but you can save big bucks on labor costs too. Number four. Generally recycled parts are readily available for virtually any car or truck. Frequently, recycled parts are more available than new parts. It's amazing how often new parts are not available or have to be put on back order. This delays the repairs and increases the costs.
